UpdateUI method

Notifies the host that the command state has changed.

Syntax

HRESULT retVal = object.UpdateUI();

Parameters

This method has no parameters.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.

Remarks

The host should update the state of toolbar buttons in an implementation of this method.

This method is called regardless of the return value from the IDocHostUIHandler::ShowUI method.
