GetDropdownOpen method

Retrieves a value that indicates whether the drop-down list is visible.

Syntax

HRESULT retVal = object.GetDropdownOpen(pfOpen);

Parameters

  • pfOpen [out, retval]
    Type: BOOL

    Address of a variable of type BOOL that receives TRUE if the drop-down list is open, or FALSE otherwise.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.

Remarks

GetDropdownOpen was introduced in Windows Internet Explorer 7.
