onmsgestureend event
This event fires when all associated contacts are removed from the surface, and any inertia related movements have stopped..
Syntax
HTML Attribute | <element onmsgestureend = "handler(event)"> |
addEventListener Method | object.addEventListener("MSGestureEnd", handler, useCapture) |
Event handler parameters
handler [in]
Type: FunctionFunction name to execute when a gesture has ended.
Remarks
When contacts are removed from a surface, the gesture is then processed by the target object, including any movement that occurs after an onmsinertiastart event. The onmsgestureend event fires after the gesture has been completely processed.
Note For more information about controlling touch behavior and using multi-touch, see Guidelines for Building Touch-friendly Sites.
Note This item described in this topic requires Windows 8.
Examples
The following is a complete sample that enables you to interact with the screen and see the specific gesture events that are fired. Try tapping and swiping your finger or mouse on the red or blue regions and view the events that are listed.
