Edit Replication Schedules

To edit the replication schedule for a replication group or to force replication with a specific member of a replication group, use the following procedures.

To edit the replication group schedule

  1. Click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click DFS Management.

  2. In the console tree, under the Replication node, right-click the replication group with the schedule that you want to edit, and then click Edit Replication Group Schedule.

Note

Schedule changes are not applied immediately. The new schedule must be replicated to all domain controllers, and each member in the replication group must poll its closest domain controller to obtain the changes. The amount of time this takes depends on AD DS replication latency and the long polling interval (60 minutes) on each member.

To force replication immediately

  1. In the console tree, under the Replication node, select the appropriate replication group.

  2. Click the Connections tab.

  3. Right-click the member you want to use to replicate, and then click Replicate Now.
