RRAS Setup Wizard - Demand-Dial Connections Page

This wizard page appears if you select Secure connection between two private networks on the Configuration page of the RRAS Setup Wizard.

When configuring RRAS to securely connect two private networks over a public network, use this wizard page to specify whether the interface to the public network from the local RRAS server is a demand-dial or physical network interface.

Option Description

Yes

Select this option to specify that the RRAS server uses a demand-dial interface to connect to the remote network. After the steps in the RRAS Setup Wizard are complete, you must define a new demand-dial interface by using the Demand-Dial Interface Wizard.

No

Select this option to specify that the RRAS server does not use a demand-dial interface to connect to the remote network.
