Balancing the time and effort that's required to respond to customer emails can be challenging. Copilot for Sales can help you answer inquiries, draft proposals, and more. All generated responses use Microsoft Graph and key CRM record data.

Enhance customer communications by using opportunity summaries and key sales information

Building trust with customers is critical, and being well informed before sales meetings or responding to customer emails is key. Microsoft 365 Copilot for Sales provides a 360-degree view of the relevant opportunity record when you're viewing customer meetings in Outlook.

Also, with the Copilot for Sales Premium experience, key sales information like a summary of the opportunity and BANT (budget, authority, need, timing) analysis is also surfaced in Outlook when reading customer emails, helping you prepare well for your customer communications, build loyalty with your customers, and close deals.

Strategize and optimize sales meeting preparation in Microsoft Word (Premium only)

Sellers perform daily strategic sales tasks like meeting prep, proposal creation, and contract drafting in Microsoft Word. Copilot in Microsoft Word speeds up document creation with tailored content and suggestions. The Premium experience of Microsoft 365 Copilot for Sales integrates with Copilot in Microsoft Word, using contextual CRM information and intelligence to help you quickly generate detailed meeting preparation briefs, enabling you to optimize sales meetings and make sure colleagues have the latest information. This capability is currently available in Public Preview.

To generate a meeting preparation brief in Microsoft Word, select the Draft with Copilot icon, enter your prompt followed by a forward slash (/), select the Copilot for Sales option, select an upcoming sales meeting, and click on Generate.

Microsoft 365 Copilot for Sales leverages content from the selected sales meeting, related record information from your CRM platform (opportunity, tasks, and so on.), and email history to generate a meeting preparation brief with the following sections:

  • Meeting participants (with meeting responses)

  • Opportunity summary

  • Open tasks for the opportunity

  • Recent meeting insights

  • Summary of recent email

  • Related records

    • Open opportunities

    • Open cases
