Set up default order settings
You can set up default order settings in Supply Chain Management to help optimize sales order processing, improve efficiency, maintain consistency, enforce control, and automate routine tasks.
Go to Accounts receivable > Setup > Accounts receivable parameters and select the Shipments tab. Expand the Delivery control FastTab, and in the Sales lead time field, specify the default lead time for sales orders in the number of days. After you specify the sales lead time, you can configure specific default order settings on released products. Go to Product information management > Products > Released products and select the released product that you want to set up default order settings on. On the released product page, select Manage inventory on the Action Pane and then select Default order settings. Expand the Sales order FastTab and configure the settings that are relevant to your business processes.
