Navigate your Learn profile
Your profile stores your activities, collections, achievements, and settings.
Access your profile by navigating to the avatar image on the upper right corner of the browser window and then select Profile in the pop-up window.
Here are some of the main items in your profile:
Description | |
---|---|
Activity | All your activities - check here for your in-progress and completed modules and learning paths |
Training | Your progression on modules and learning paths that you have started |
Certifications | Your Microsoft Certifications profile and dashboard |
Q&A | Your following activity for the Q&A platform — the home for technical questions and answers at Microsoft. |

Settings | Change your display name, manage email preferences and account settings. You can link your work account to your profile and share your learning progress with your school |
Note
Great news! Those of you who have achievement history within the Microsoft Educator Center, will get to retain all your prior course history, badges, and professional development hours.
We will notify you before that takes place. Until that time, please still refer to your achievements in your Microsoft Educator Center profile for your full completion history.
Changing your personal info, username, and URL
You may wish to customize your profile to better fit your personality. You can do this in the Settings.
- Navigate to your avatar image.
- Select Settings.
- From here you can change:
- Profile picture
- Username/URL
- Display name
Important
By default your Learn profile is public but you can use private mode to restrict what others can see. When private mode is on, Learn badges, trophies, and Q&A contributions are hidden on your public profile.
To enable private mode:
- Navigate to your avatar image.
- Select Settings.
- Scroll down to the privacy area and move the slider to the right, then select Save. To undo it, move the slider back to the left, then select Save.
Adding and removing accounts
One important benefit of Learn is that you can have multiple Microsoft accounts associated with your Learn profile. Do you have a personal and school account that you wish to separate? Have you moved to another school district and need to merge your old account with your new account?
No problem, you can do this in the account management area of your settings. To find this setting:
- Navigate to your avatar image.
- Select Settings.
- Then choose either +Add account or Remove account.
Badges, trophies, and reputation points
Badges and trophies are your reward for finishing a module or learning path. All content for educators and school leaders earns this reward upon completion and passing the knowledge check.
Keep going on in this module and as you’ll see, you will earn yourself a badge.
Of note, you can also earn experience points (XP) and “level up” the longer you spend in Learn.
