Deprecated master planning

Completed

If your organization makes use of the existing built-in master planning engine, Planning Optimization replaces built-in master planning. As such, you should begin considering steps for migrating to Planning Optimization in order to prepare for the deprecation enforcement. It's recommended to carry out the migration to Planning Optimization as soon as the features you require are supported. This allows you to use the new performance improvements and capabilities that Planning Optimization has to offer. Since the Planning Optimization functionality is yet to support all the features that are available in the built-in master planning engine, you must evaluate whether the feature set that is currently available in Planning Optimization meets your needs. Keep in mind, the Planning Optimization add-in isn't activated by default in Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS), so you can evaluate the fit-gap analysis prior to enabling in LCS. Therefore, it's recommended that you consult Planning Optimization fit analysis.
