Set up an item arrival overview profile
In Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, you can use an item arrival overview profile to define how the system manages the arrival of items into inventory. This profile allows users to specify various parameters that are related to the handling of item arrivals, such as how to generate receipts, how to determine locations for incoming items, and whether to check picking locations during arrival or not.
Follow these steps to set up an item arrival profile:
Go to Inventory management > Setup > Distribution > Arrival overview profiles.
Select New on the Action Pane.
Enter a value in the Arrival overview profile name field.
Select an available option from the Show lines field:
All - Show all lines
In progress - Show lines for recipients that have a progress status of Complete or Partly
Not complete - Show lines for recipients that have a progress status of None or Partly
Expand the Arrival options FastTab.
Specify a value in the Days forward, Days back, and Warehouse fields.
Select a value in the Mode of delivery field.
Select a value in the Name field.
Specify a warehouse and location in the Warehouse and Location fields.
Expand the Arrival query details FastTab.
In the Restrict to site field, select a value.
Set the Purchase orders option to Yes.
Set the Transfer orders option to Yes.
Select Save.
