Your organization can configure specific information about locations in a warehouse.

Set the default location capacity

Follow these steps to set the default location capacity:

1. Go to Inventory management > Setup > Inventory and warehouse management parameters and then select the Locations tab.

2. Enter a Standard width, Standard depth, and Standard height.

3. Select Save.

Define the location name format

To define the location name format, follow these steps:

1. Go to Inventory management > Setup > Inventory breakdown > Warehouses and then select New.

2. Enter a value in the Warehouse field and the Name field.

3. Expand the General FastTab and then select a value in the Site field.

4. In the Location names section, your organization can define the default format for location names.

5. After you turn on the desired location names, select Save.

Define warehouse locations

After you define the location name format, select Warehouse on the Action Pane. Select Location Wizard and the system directs you to the Locations page. Define the necessary information and then select Next to continue to the next page. Clear the Outbound docks and Bulk locations options. After you enter all desired information, select Finished.
