Attribute Types

We recommend that you use Microsoft's IPP inbox class driver, along with Print Support Apps (PSA), to customize the print experience in Windows 10 and 11 for printer device development.

Several types of attributes are defined, consisting of:

General attributes are associated with the printer device.

Command attributes are associated with printer commands.

Feature attributes are associated with specific printer features.

Option attributes are associated with the options belonging to specific features.
