Attributes for simulated fonts

Important

The modern print platform is Windows' preferred means of communicating with printers. We recommend that you use Microsoft's IPP inbox class driver, along with Print Support Apps (PSA), to customize the print experience in Windows 10 and 11 for printer device development.

The following table lists attributes describing the printer's support for simulated fonts.

Attribute name Attribute parameter Comments
*DiffFontsPerByteMode? TRUE or FALSE. For printers supporting both single-byte and double-byte modes, this indicates whether the printer maintains separate fonts and font characteristics for each mode. Optional. If not specified, the default value is FALSE.
