Running the test
Before you run the test, complete the test setup as described in the test requirements: Wireless LAN (802.11) Testing Prerequisites.
This test performs the following actions:
- Configure two routers, that are named Router 0 and Router 1, as follows:
- Router 0 - 2.4Ghz : WPA2PSK/AES/N
- Router 0 - 5Ghz : WPA2PSK/AES/N
- Router 1 - 2.4Ghz : WPA2PSK/AES/N
- Router 1 - 5Ghz : WPA2PSK/AES/N
- The following scenarios will be performed for up to 50 minutes
- Connect and Disconnect - This runs cycles through attempting connection to Router 0 - 2.4GHz and then Router 1 - 2.4GHz
- Scan - This runs initiates multiple Scans
- Airplane Mode ON and OFF - This runs cycles through turning OFF and turning ON the radio
- Before and after the test and periodically between the test scenarios the test will perform a data integrity test which includes:
- Create a TCP server on the access point (AP) controller server (listen port 80)
- Create a profile for Router 0 - 2.4 GHz having ConnectionMode configured as manual
- Initiate a WlanConnect using the profile.
- Wait for IP address on the adapter
- Connect to the TCP server on the AP controller server to confirm that full network connectivity is available.
- At the end the test will display the number of times each scenario ran
