MsiInstallMissingFileA function (msi.h)
The MsiInstallMissingFile function installs files that are unexpectedly missing.

Parameters
[in] szProduct
Specifies the product code for the product that owns the file to be installed.
[in] szFile
Specifies the file to be installed.

Remarks
The MsiInstallMissingFile function obtains the component that the file belongs to from the file table. Then, the product feature that requires the least additional disk space is installed.
Note
The msi.h header defines MsiInstallMissingFile as an alias which automatically selects the ANSI or Unicode version of this function based on the definition of the UNICODE preprocessor constant. Mixing usage of the encoding-neutral alias with code that not encoding-neutral can lead to mismatches that result in compilation or runtime errors.
