Gets a text range from a VARIANT type.

Syntax

HRESULT UiaHTextRangeFromVariant(
  [in]  VARIANT       *pvar,
  [out] HUIATEXTRANGE *phtextrange
);

Parameters

[in] pvar

Type: VARIANT*

The text range.

[out] phtextrange

Type: HUIATEXTRANGE*

The address of a variable that receives the text range. This parameter is passed uninitialized.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

Returns S_OK if successful or an error value otherwise.
