ISearchQueryHelper::put_QuerySyntax method (searchapi.h)
Sets the syntax of the query.
Syntax
HRESULT put_QuerySyntax(
[in] SEARCH_QUERY_SYNTAX querySyntax
);
Parameters
[in] querySyntax
Type: SEARCH_QUERY_SYNTAX
Flag that specifies the search query syntax. For a list of possible values, see the description of the SEARCH_QUERY_SYNTAX enumerated type.
Return value
Type: HRESULT
If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
Remarks
The allowed syntaxes are Simple, Natural Query Syntax (NQS), and Advanced Query Syntax (AQS). If not set, the default query syntax is SEARCH_ADVANCED_QUERY_SYNTAX.
