IAppxManifestPackageDependency::GetPublisher method (appxpackaging.h)

Gets the name of the publisher that produced the package on which the current package depends.

Syntax

HRESULT GetPublisher(
  [out] LPWSTR *publisher
);

Parameters

[out] publisher

Type: LPWSTR*

The name of the publisher.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.

Remarks

If the publisher is not defined for the dependency, this method returns S_OK, and publisher is NULL.

The caller must free the memory allocated for publisher using the CoTaskMemFree function.
