ICOMAdminCatalog2::ShutdownApplicationInstances method (comadmin.h)
Initiates shutdown of the specified application server processes.
Syntax
HRESULT ShutdownApplicationInstances(
[in] VARIANT *pVarApplicationInstanceID
);
Parameters
[in] pVarApplicationInstanceID
The application instances to be shut down. Each element of the Variant may be a String containing an application instance GUID (for example, as returned by the GetApplicationInstanceIDFromProcessID method), a single catalog object, or a catalog collection (for example, as returned by the GetCollectionByQuery2 method).
Return value
This method can return the standard return values E_INVALIDARG, E_OUTOFMEMORY, E_UNEXPECTED, and E_FAIL, as well as the following values.
