SecurityProperty::GetDirectCreatorName method (comsvcs.h)

[Do not use this method in COM+ applications because it was designed to be used only in MTS 2.0 applications.]

Retrieves the user name associated with the current object's immediate (out-of-process) creator.

Syntax

HRESULT GetDirectCreatorName(
  [out] BSTR *bstrUserName
);

Parameters

[out] bstrUserName

A reference to the user name associated with the current object's immediate (out-of-process) creator.

Return value

This method can return the standard return values E_INVALIDARG, E_OUTOFMEMORY, E_UNEXPECTED, E_FAIL, and S_OK.
