IMetaDataTables2::GetMetaDataStreamInfo method (rometadataapi.h)

Gets the name, size, and contents of the metadata stream at the specified index.

Syntax

HRESULT GetMetaDataStreamInfo(
  [in]  ULONG      ix,
  [out] LPCSTR     *ppchName,
  [out] const BYTE **ppv,
  [out] ULONG      *pcb
);

Parameters

[in] ix

The index of the requested metadata stream.

[out] ppchName

A pointer to the name of the stream.

[out] ppv

A pointer to the metadata stream.

[out] pcb

The size, in bytes, of ppv.

Return value

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
