IAMVfwCompressDialogs::GetState method (strmif.h)

[The feature associated with this page, DirectShow, is a legacy feature. It has been superseded by MediaPlayer, IMFMediaEngine, and Audio/Video Capture in Media Foundation. The GetState method retrieves the current configuration settings for the VCM codec currently being used.

Syntax

HRESULT GetState(
  [out]     LPVOID pState,
  [in, out] int    *pcbState
);

Parameters

[out] pState

State of the VCM codec.

[in, out] pcbState

Pointer to the size of the state.

Return value

Return value varies depending on the implementation within each driver.

Remarks

This method calls the ICGetState macro.
