IVdsVolumeMF::QueryReparsePoints method (vds.h)
[Beginning with Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012, the Virtual Disk Service COM interface is superseded by the Windows Storage Management API.]
Returns all reparse points for the current volume.
Syntax
HRESULT QueryReparsePoints(
[out] VDS_REPARSE_POINT_PROP **ppReparsePointProps,
[out] LONG *plNumberOfReparsePointProps
);
Parameters
[out] ppReparsePointProps
Pointer to a buffer that receives a pointer to an array of properties defined by the VDS_REPARSE_POINT_PROP structure.
[out] plNumberOfReparsePointProps
Pointer to a buffer containing the number of reparse-point properties.
Return value
This method can return standard HRESULT values, such as E_INVALIDARG or E_OUTOFMEMORY, and VDS-specific return values. It can also return converted system error codes using the HRESULT_FROM_WIN32 macro. Errors can originate from VDS itself or from the underlying VDS provider that is being used. Possible return values include the following.
Return code/value | Description |
---|---|
|
The method completed successfully. |
|
The volume failed. |
|
The pack containing the volume is not accessible. |
Remarks
A reparse point is represented by a tuple consisting of the source volume identifier and the volume path. This method does not return redundant access paths.
