SharePoint Governance Toolkit - What?

Since a few years ago, SharePoint is a key platform for many people. In the last 2 years we hace trying to hep to the people to manage and use the platform efficiently, using all possibilities that it offers. Revieving the possibilities of SharePoint and with focus in the last version 2010, these are the key elements were I have tried to work:

  • Application LifeCycle Management: Using tools as Visual Studio and WSP as mechanism for distribute the application, keeping the best practices working with Sharepoint as our angular stone
  • Site LifeCycle Management: Let to the companies give the freedom to their users to create Sites and working with them.
  • Social Networks and Web 2.0: Covering aspects as MySite, Web 2.0 Capabilities and User Management.

Our mission has been always, make easy the daily job with our products, and SharePoint is an area where We can help to use to increase the productivity thinking in all people (users developers and administrators). To meet more about this practices and all about the Method-Framework called SharePoint Governance Toolkit, I will share aspects and ideas in the following post about how to improve the Quality of the applications, Manage the different Farms, Open the new possibilities to the users but taking in mind the Administrators, etc.
