Comment : déclencher et utiliser des événements

Les exemples de cet article montrent comment utiliser des événements. Parmi eux figurent des exemples du délégué EventHandler, du délégué EventHandler<TEventArgs> et d’un délégué personnalisé pour illustrer les événements avec et sans données.

Les exemples utilisent les concepts décrits dans l’article Événements.

Exemple 1

Le premier exemple montre comment déclencher et consommer un événement n’ayant pas de données. Il contient une classe nommée Counter qui possède un événement appelé ThresholdReached. Cet événement est déclenché lorsqu’une valeur de compteur atteint ou dépasse un seuil. Le délégué EventHandler est associé à l’événement, car aucune donnée d’événement n’est fournie.

Le deuxième exemple montre comment déclencher et consommer un événement qui fournit des données. Le délégué EventHandler<TEventArgs> est associé à l’événement, et une instance d’un objet de données d’événement personnalisé est fournie.

Exemple 3

Le troisième exemple montre comment déclarer un délégué pour un événement. Le délégué est nommé ThresholdReachedEventHandler. Cet exemple n’est fourni qu’à titre d’illustration. En règle générale, il est inutile de déclarer un délégué pour un événement, car vous pouvez vous servir du délégué EventHandler ou du délégué EventHandler<TEventArgs>. Un délégué ne doit être déclaré que dans de rares cas, par exemple pour rendre la classe accessible à du code hérité qui ne peut pas utiliser de génériques.
