Disclosures provide transparency to your customers about your usage of Clarity.
1. Adding a Site Disclosure
We recommend that all websites that use Clarity include site disclosures in the footer or somewhere else on the homepage where Clarity runs.
We've developed the following message to support Clarity customers seeking sample language for what they might want to put onto their website or app about the use of Clarity.

2. Adding Privacy Policy Disclosures
Ensure your Privacy Policy properly communicates to your users on how you're using Clarity (and any other similar services) on your website or app.
We recommend you ensure your policies are up-to-date and clear to your readers. We have a sample version of the wording, which you can include in your Privacy Policy.
"We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products/services. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products/services and online activity.
