I dati protetti sono associati all'utente corrente. Solo i thread in esecuzione nel contesto utente corrente possono rimuovere la protezione dei dati.

LocalMachine 1

I dati protetti sono associati al contesto computer. Qualsiasi processo in esecuzione sul computer è in grado di rimuovere la protezione dei dati. Questo valore di enumerazione viene in genere utilizzato in applicazioni specifiche del server eseguite su un server a cui gli utenti non attendibili non possono accedere.

Questa enumerazione viene usata con i metodi e Unprotect per proteggere i Protect dati tramite la crittografia.

Attenzione Il valore di enumerazione LocalMachine consente a più account di rimuovere la protezione dei dati. Usare questo valore solo quando si considera attendibile ogni account in un computer. Per la maggior parte delle situazioni, è consigliabile usare il valore CurrentUser.
