AutoReset 0

Con la segnalazione, EventWaitHandle viene reimpostato automaticamente dopo il rilascio di un singolo thread. Se non sono presenti thread in attesa, EventWaitHandle resta segnalato fino al blocco di un thread e viene reimpostato dopo il rilascio del thread.

ManualReset 1

Con la segnalazione, EventWaitHandle rilascia tutti i thread in attesa e resta segnalato finché non viene reimpostato manualmente.

Esempio

Nell'esempio di codice seguente viene usato l'overload del SignalAndWait(WaitHandle, WaitHandle) metodo per consentire al thread principale di segnalare un thread bloccato e quindi attendere il completamento di un'attività da parte del thread.

L'esempio avvia cinque thread e consente loro di bloccarsi in un EventWaitHandle oggetto creato con il flag AutoReset, quindi rilascia un thread ogni volta che l'utente preme il tasto INVIO. L'esempio accoda quindi altri cinque thread e li rilascia tutti usando un EventWaitHandle oggetto creato con il flag ManualReset.
