Nell'esempio seguente viene illustrato un modulo creato usando il codice che viene ridimensionato automaticamente in base al relativo contenuto. Quando viene eseguito, il modulo visualizza un Labeloggetto , un TextBox oggetto per l'immissione di un URL e un Button oggetto per la visualizzazione di tale URL all'interno del Web browser predefinito dell'utente. Nell'esempio viene utilizzato un oggetto FlowLayoutPanel per disporre i controlli contenuti uno dopo l'altro. Imposta anche e AutoSizeAutoSizeMode per crescere e compattare per adattare il contenuto della forma.

Se si imposta la AutoSizeMode proprietà su un nuovo valore, il form verrà nuovamente disposto.

Un modulo non viene ridimensionato automaticamente nella finestra di progettazione dei moduli di Visual Studio, indipendentemente dai valori delle AutoSize proprietà e AutoSizeMode . Il modulo viene ridimensionato correttamente in fase di esecuzione in base ai valori di queste due proprietà. Al contrario, un personalizzato UserControl si ridimensiona automaticamente sia in fase di progettazione che in fase di esecuzione.
