My.Application.Info.Copyright Property 

Gets the copyright notice associated with the application.

A String containing the copyright notice associated with the application.

Exceptions

The following condition can cause an exception:

• The assembly does not have an AssemblyCopyrightAttribute (InvalidOperationException).

Remarks

The My.Application.Info.CompanyName property gets the copyright notice associated with the application.

You can change the copyright notice by changing the value for Copyright in the Assembly Information dialog box, accessible from the Application pane of the Project Designer. For more information, see How to: Specify Assembly Information.

Example

This example uses the My.Application.Info.CompanyName property to display the company name associated with the application.
