ISmsClient2::GetProxy Method

The ISmsClient2::GetProxy method, in Configuration Manager, gets proxy information about a URL. If the information is not cached, then detection is initiated.

Parameters

  • bstrProtocol
    Data type: BSTR

    Qualifiers: [in]

    URL for which to retrieve proxy information.

  • pbstrProxy
    Data type: BSTR

    Qualifiers: [out]

    Pointer to proxy information.

  • pbstrProxyBypass
    Data type: BSTR

    Qualifiers: [out]

    Pointer to bypass proxy information.

  • pbAuthFlag
    Data type: BOOL

    Qualifiers: [out]

    Pointer to true if authentication is required.

  • pbstrAccount
    Data type: BSTR

    Qualifiers: [out]

    Pointer to the account to authenticate to the proxy.

  • pbstrPassword
    Data type: BSTR

    Qualifiers: [out]

    Pointer to the account password.

Return Value

An HRESULT code. Possible values include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • S_OK
    The method succeeded.
