IATSC_VCT::GetRecordName method (atscpsipparser.h)

The GetRecordName method returns the name of a specified channel in the VCT.

Syntax

HRESULT GetRecordName(
  [in]  DWORD  dwRecordIndex,
  [out] LPWSTR *pwsName
);

Parameters

[in] dwRecordIndex

Specifies the record number, indexed from zero. Call the IATSC_VCT::GetCountOfRecords method to get the number of records in the VCT.

[out] pwsName

Receives a pointer to a wide-character string. The method allocates the buffer for the string. The caller must release the buffer by calling the CoTaskMemFree function.

Return value

The method returns an HRESULT. Possible values include those in the following table.

Return code Description
E_OUTOFMEMORY
Insufficient memory.
E_POINTER
NULL pointer argument.
MPEG2_E_OUT_OF_BOUNDS
Index out of bounds.
S_OK
The method succeeded.

Remarks

This method returns the short_name field.
