IMSVidStreamBufferSourceEvent2::RateChange method (segment.h)

This topic applies to Update Rollup 2 for Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005.
The RateChange method is called when the playback rate changes.
Syntax
HRESULT RateChange(
[in] double qwNewRate,
[in] double qwOldRate
);
Parameters
[in] qwNewRate
Specifies the new playback rate.
[in] qwOldRate
Specifies the previous playback rate.
Return value
Returns an HRESULT value. Possible values include the following.

Remarks
For both parameters, 1.0 represents normal speed. Fractional values are allowed. For example, 0.2 would represent a rate that is slower than normal playback and 1.7 would represent a rate that is faster than normal playback.
