IComponentTypes::Add method (tuner.h)

The Add method adds a new ComponentType object to the collection.

Syntax

HRESULT Add(
  [in]  IComponentType *ComponentType,
  [out] VARIANT        *NewIndex
);

Parameters

[in] ComponentType

Pointer to the IComponentType object that will be added to the collection.

[out] NewIndex

The index number of the component type after it has been added to the collection.

Return value

Returns S_OK if successful. If the method fails, error information can be retrieved using the standard COM IErrorInfo interface.
