Destinazioni di MSBuild

Le destinazioni raggruppano le attività in un determinato ordine e consentono di suddividere il processo di compilazione in unità più piccole. Ad esempio, una destinazione può eliminare tutti i file presenti nella directory di output per preparare la compilazione, mentre un'altra compila gli input per il progetto e li inserisce nella directory vuota. Dichiarare le destinazioni nel file di progetto

Per dichiarare le destinazioni in un file di progetto si usa l'elemento Target. Ad esempio, il codice XML seguente crea una destinazione denominata Construct che chiama l'attività Csc con il tipo di elemento Compile.

Come le proprietà di MSBuild, le destinazioni possono essere ridefinite. ad esempio:

Se MyTarget viene eseguito, viene visualizzato solo "Seconda occorrenza", perché la seconda definizione di MyTarget nasconde la prima.

MSBuild si basa sull'ordine di importazione e l'ultima definizione di una destinazione diventa l'ultima definizione usata. Se si tenta di ridefinire una destinazione, non avrà effetto se la destinazione predefinita viene definita in un secondo momento.

Ordine di compilazione delle destinazioni

Le destinazioni devono venire ordinate se l'input per una destinazione dipende dall'output di un'altra destinazione.

Esistono diversi modi per specificare l'ordine di esecuzione delle destinazioni.

  • Destinazioni iniziali

  • Destinazioni predefinite

  • Prima destinazione

  • Dipendenze tra destinazioni

  • BeforeTargets e AfterTargets

Una destinazione non viene mai eseguita due volte durante una compilazione, anche se da essa dipende una destinazione successiva nella compilazione. Il contributo della destinazione alla compilazione termina dopo che è stata eseguita.

Progetti in stile SDK

Molti progetti più recenti usano un SDK, ovvero usano l'attributo nell'elemento Sdk radice Project , ad esempio<Project Sdk="Microsoft.NET.Sdk">. Vedere Fare riferimento a Project SDK. In tal caso, l'ordine di definizione di alcune destinazioni non è necessariamente ovvio, poiché le importazioni per le destinazioni vengono aggiunte in modo implicito dopo la fine del file di progetto. Nelle versioni precedenti di MSBuild o nei progetti che non usano l'attributo Sdk è stata una pratica comune estendere il comportamento di una destinazione come Build eseguendo l'override della destinazione AfterBuild o BeforeBuild. Tuttavia, questo non funziona nei progetti che usano un SDK, perché AfterBuild è definito in un'importazione implicita dopo tutto l'altro codice nel file di progetto. Pertanto, per estendere il comportamento di una destinazione esistente, creare una nuova destinazione e specificare BeforeTargets (o AfterTargets come appropriato) come indicato di seguito:

Assegnare alla destinazione un nome descrittivo, come si denomina una funzione nel codice.

In alcuni casi, ad esempio quando si usano script di compilazione meno recenti che usano AfterBuild, è possibile evitare di usare l'attributo Sdk e modificare invece le importazioni esplicite. Per convertire un progetto in stile SDK per usare importazioni esplicite, rimuovere l'attributo Sdk="{SdkName}" e aggiungere due importazioni come indicato di seguito: <import Project="{SdkName}.props"> vicino all'inizio del file di progetto e <import Project="{Sdkname}.targets"> vicino alla fine. Dopo aver apportato tale modifica, è possibile ridefinire AfterBuild dopo l'elemento di importazione che importa il {Sdkname}.targets file.

Suddivisione in batch della destinazione

Un elemento di destinazione può avere un Outputs attributo che specifica i metadati nel formato %(<Metadati>). In questo caso MSBuild esegue la destinazione una volta per ogni valore univoco dei metadati, raggruppando o suddividendo in "batch" gli elementi che contengono quel valore dei metadati. ad esempio:

suddivide in batch gli elementi di riferimento in base ai metadati RequiredTargetFramework. L'output dell'esempio è simile al seguente:

La suddivisione in batch della destinazione viene usata raramente nelle compilazioni reali. La suddivisione in batch delle attività è più comune. Per altre informazioni, vedere Batch.

Compilazioni incrementali

Le compilazioni incrementali sono compilazioni ottimizzate in modo da non eseguire le destinazioni con file di output aggiornati rispetto ai file di input corrispondenti. Un elemento di destinazione può avere entrambi gli attributi Inputs e Outputs per indicare quali elementi la destinazione accetta come input e quali elementi genera come output.

Se tutti gli elementi di output sono aggiornati, MSBuild ignora la destinazione e questo migliora notevolmente la velocità di compilazione. Questa operazione è definita compilazione incrementale della destinazione. Se solo alcuni file sono aggiornati, MSBuild esegue la destinazione senza gli elementi aggiornati. SDK e destinazioni di compilazione predefinite

Alcune destinazioni di compilazione dipendono dall'SDK a cui si fa riferimento, se presente. Per ottenere tutte le destinazioni disponibili per un file di progetto, usare l'opzione della -targets riga di comando o -ts . Vedere Le informazioni di riferimento sulla riga di comando di MSBuild. Il sistema di compilazione contiene un numero elevato di destinazioni per uso interno da parte della compilazione, che in genere sono indicate con un carattere di sottolineatura (_) all'inizio del nome di destinazione. Per ottenere un elenco solo delle destinazioni pubbliche, provare a inviare tramite pipe l'output a un elemento che filtra i caratteri di sottolineatura. Ad esempio, in bash quando si usa dotnet build, è possibile eseguire le operazioni seguenti:

Se non si usa .NET, usare MSBuild.exe -ts al posto di dotnet build -ts, seguito dalle stesse operazioni di piping e filtro.
