Arresto di un servizio

Un programma di controllo del servizio può arrestare un servizio usando la funzione ControlService per inviare una richiesta di SERVICE_CONTROL_STOP. Se gestione controllo del servizio riceve una richiesta di SERVICE_CONTROL_STOP per un servizio, indica al servizio di arrestarsi inoltrando la richiesta alla funzione ServiceMain del servizio. Tuttavia, se SCM determina che altri servizi in esecuzione dipendono dal servizio specificato, non inoltra la richiesta di arresto. Restituisce invece ERROR_DEPENDENT_SERVICES_RUNNING. Pertanto, per arrestare tale servizio a livello di codice, è necessario innanzitutto enumerare e arrestare i servizi dipendenti.

La funzione DoStopSvc nell'esempio seguente illustra come arrestare un servizio e tutti i servizi dipendenti. La variabile szSvcName è una variabile globale che contiene il nome del servizio da arrestare. Per l'esempio completo che imposta questa variabile, vedere SvcControl.cpp.
