AD Magic Restore script published on codeplex
Alexandre Augagneur is an AD MVP who recently published a new script called AD Magic Restore. It uses dsamain.exe to expose an AD database file taken from a backup or a snapshot. It compares that database file with your production AD database and let's you restore any attributes. The attribute-level restore sets it apart from AD recycle bin feature. Special thanks to Alexandre for providing this very useful script. If you have questions about using it, email alexandre.augagneur@alexwinner.com.

Thanks for sharing DJ. Does seems to serve the same purpose. Ashley's post has the benefit of teaching you more about PowerShell as well. So at least two good options for users.
