Silverlight-based P2P live streaming client wins MediaGuardian Innovation Award

The first MediaGuardian Innovation Awards were held two days ago in London. Its motto - at least according to a big banner on their website - seems to be: "Some great ideas never see the light of day. We celebrate the ones that do." With that in mind I'm very pleased that one of the winners in the category Digital innovation - technology is Skinkers' Livestation, a Silverlight-based live streaming client which uses peer-to-peer networking to increase scalability (see also Skinkers' original press release from May 2007).
