I live in Palo Alto, but don't have any relations with StanfordU, can I participate in that location? Thank you.

Hi I'm concerned about system specs. I've registered for Redmond WA location. It shows two links Download Windows 8 RTM and VS 2012. My concern is do I need a fresh laptop to install those software ? My current work laptop has Windows Xp and VS 2010. Who do I talk to for any questions about making my laptop ready for appathone ? Thanks
