Upcoming Free HTML5 Training in West Region

Many of you have asked me when the next HTML5 training will be. Now I have some good news to share with you. We are going to offer HTML5 WebCamps in the following cities, Mountain View, CA , Redmond, WA and Portland, OR. Register early as WebCamps will be sold out soon.

Event Overview

As developers, you keep hearing a lot about HTML5, but many don’t know what it actually means or is truly capable of. If you want to learn about it, your choices are limited; you can either pick up a book or attend an expensive conference that often only scratches the surface. The HTML5 Web Camp is an opportunity to connect with designers and developers and show you what’s possible, and how you can start using it today. HTML5 WebCamp is a completely free event, and will start with demos and presentations, and will end with hands on lab sessions, that will allow you to walk through materials and get your questions answered! Space is limited.

Here is a list of topic will be covered in the WebCamp:

  • Introduction to HTML 5 and IE9
  • Introduction to CSS3
  • Overview of HTML5 Graphics with Canvas & SVG
  • Adding Video, and Sound with HTML5
  • Practical HTML5: Using It Today
  • Hands on Labs

Registration

Mountain View, CA - November 12 (Saturday)

Redmond, WA - November 18 (Friday)

Portland, OR- December 8 (Thursday)

Hi Doris - Just got the email for registration about 30 mins ago and the class in the bay area is already filled-up. Also tried to attend the last HTML5 class last time and also was on the waitlist. Will it be possible to increase the registration for the class, or is there a way to auto sign-up for the next class? Thanks, Prakash

Hi I was registered for the Portland event but unexpectedly have to be out of town so can't be there. Sent email to the local team email address but not sure if they received it.  Just wanted to be sure someone else gets to use that seat.
