consumer preview of windows 8 available wednesday!

there are certain dates that stick with you.  birthdays, anniversaries and other significant dates.  the first geek date i have committed to memory is august 24th, 1995.  the second geek date i have memorized is easy to remember because it's also my birthday.  the third geek date i will remember is leap day 2012.  it's the day that windows 8 consumer preview will be available for download.  now to get some sleep before all the downloading, installing and excitement begins.
