Microsoft Lync Server 2010 Cumulative Update April 2013

Microsoft Support has released a cumulative update for Lync 2010, which includes a fix for the issue, “You cannot start Lync 2010 after you install the March 2013 cumulative update for Lync 2010 in Windows XP Pro or Windows Server 2003.” In addition, two updates for Lync 2010 Attendee were released.

Microsoft Support has released the following cumulative updates for Lync 2010:

This cumulative update fixes the issue that is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) article: https://support.microsoft.com/kb/2832123

• KB2832123 - You cannot start Lync 2010 after you install the March 2013 cumulative update for Lync 2010 in Windows XP Pro or Windows Server 2003

Additionally, Microsoft has released the following Lync 2010 Attendee updates:

• Description of the cumulative update for the Lync 2010 Attendee - User level installation: April 2013
• Description of the cumulative update for the Lync 2010 Attendee - Administrator level installation: April 2013
