Microsoft Expression Web Designer CTP1 released !
So yes! We released the first CTP of Microsoft Expression Web Designer on Monday.
Over the past 2 days I've been receiving a couple of questions on this - weird cause I'm not a designer a all - guess devs & designers are really close after all then! :-)

What is Expression Web Designer?
Microsoft’s professional design tool for creating HTML/CSS based web sites and applications.

Expiration date for the CTP 1 build?
You bet! :-) The Expression Web Designer CTP1 will expire on February 1st, 2007.

Support for CSS 1 and 2?
Yes, Expression Web Designer supports both CSS 1 and CSS 2.1.
Support for Expression Web Designer CTP?
Formal support is not offered for this Expression Web Designer CTP. Instead, we have set up a forum () to solicit feedback and help get your questions answered by the Expression Web Designer community.
Launch date?
The feedback from the CTP process will not only drive the features of the product, but will also ultimately determine the launch date. We will ship when our customers tell us the product is ready.
Browser compatibility?
Microsoft Expression Web Designer supports XHTML and CSS standards and will enable Web designers to easily build browser-agnostic sites. EWD also incorporates rich accessibility support to help build the most accessible, standards conformant Web sites possible.

At this time we are not releasing pricing information. Details about pricing will be announced as soon as they are available.

Microsoft Expression Web Designer is a new product for professional Web designers, based on the evolution of FrontPage 2003 technologies, including significant new investments in cutting-edge technologies (CSS, XML, XHTML XSLT, and ASP.Net 2.0) over the past several years. It will enable professional designers to create high-quality, modern, standards-based Web sites.
