December05 Vista CTP details
Some notes for those of you who are going to be installing the December05 Windows Vista CTP.
-Log bugs at the Microsoft Beta website; We have a team in place who will be reviewing bugs as they come in. (I am on this team)
-Additional support is available through the Beta Newsgroups; Other members of the TabletPC team will be monitoring the microsoft.beta.longhorn.tabletpc newsgroup.
Of course, you can always message Lora or you can contact myself at the Contact link at the top of this blog.
I'm really looking forward to hearing what you think of TabletPC features in Windows Vista when you see this new CTP. We've come a lo-o-ong way from the Beta1 or even the September CTP.
P.S. If any Fujitsu P1510D users are out there, let me know what your impressions are. Running XPSP2 or Vista, either way.
Update: the links above to the Beta website and the newsgroups were incorrect, so I've removed them. I'll restore them when I have the updated links.

So there is going to be a Dec CTP? (I've heard mixed reports). Any word on the timing?
Is it safe to assume the Ink Control will actually work this time around? :) - Anonymous

Does this mean there will be a new mobile SDK that works with the Nov WinFX bits? I really miss being able to work with InkAnalysis. It was a very cool part of my application, and I want to enable it again. - Anonymous

I'm with Tim - I do hope that the Tablet functionality is going to be okay (5231 was a Tablet nightmare).
I only do Vista testing on my Tablet so there's basically been none done since bugging the Tablet issues with 5231. - Anonymous

Starting with a December community tech preview (CTP), Microsoft is moving towards a centralized SDK. This new SDK will combine the old Windows Platform SDK, the WinFX SDK and the Mobile PC and Tablet PC Beta SDK into a single SDK called the Windows SDK. MSDN subscribers should see a CTP of this new SDK available for download within a few weeks. - Anonymous
