Internet Explorer CTRL Enter Shortcut

In Internet Explorer, go up to the address bar (F6 if you like) and type in the site you want to visit without the www or the com. Then hit CTRL Enter. Is that great or what?

i've noticed if you just type the site on the address bar, you just need to hit enter key, not the CTRL and ENTER. Mine resolves the name.

Need the CTRL on the machine I am typing from. Not sure about the rest of my rigs. Nothing wrong with giving shortcuts however this one, to me anyway, is useless. I guess if your a REALLY slow typer this might actually save you a half a second. It slows me down however.

I think it has to do with the search settings under ToolsOptionsAdvanced

It's a limited shortcut. I only know about www. .com
