Lync for iPad - Version 1.5 is here!
The Lync team is happy to introduce the next update of Lync 2010 for iPad. This update enhances the Lync Meeting experience by bringing the ability to view uploaded Microsoft PowerPoint presentations within a scheduled Lync Meeting, as well as view the meeting participants’ list.
When joining a Lync Meeting from the iPad, you will be prompted to join the audio portion of the meeting at the number already configured for the Call via Work feature (PSTN Callback).
After accepting the call on your audio device, any uploaded Microsoft PowerPoint content will begin loading on the iPad.
From there, if you wish to view the content being presented in full-screen mode, you can simply double-tap the content to expand the view.
When you wish to leave the meeting, all you need to do is hang up the audio call. You’ll automatically exit the presentation portion of the meeting on your iPad. Simple!
Please note Lync Server 2010 Cumulative Update for June 2012 (https://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=2493736) is required for full functionality - so please check with your system administrator!

Can iPad or mobile user access content sharing without PSTN call back dependency? So this will able to support wider range of Lync customers that didn't invest on PSTN integration yet.Anonymous

Great news! A couple of quick questions: can Lync for iPad user be a presenter and control the slide deck, or attend only? Can they upload the content?Anonymous

They should have VoIP integration like Go To Meeting, Fuze and WebEx and not force the callback integration - which more people would use.Anonymous

Is there a version that works for Lync 2013 yet? Where do I get that? The error message says the iPad 4.2 app does not work on the new version of Lync Server 2013.Anonymous
