Setup Outlook Live account in Android Phone

Here are the setup instructions which worked for me on HTC EVO. First try the auto configuration, if that does not work, use the following values to manually configure the account.

  • Email address: Your Outlook Live email address in the form [username@domain.com]
  • Server address: m.outlook.com
  • User name: Same as Email Address in the form [username@domain.com]
  • Password: Your Outlook Live password
  • Check the box "This server requires an encrypted SSL connection"
  • Domain: Leave it blank.

Nat, If your OWA url is like xxxPRDxxxx.outlook.com/owa, try using the server address as xxxPRDxxxx.outlook.com instead of m.outlook.com.

I have an htc evo 3D and was having the same issue. The settings on this site worked for me. www.everneededto.com/.../setup-outlook-email-account-on-android.html It will allow you to setup the email account without installing the hotmail email app. Good luck!!

Then I tried the link Matthew supplied. No luck there either. Anybody get your outlook working within android with a samsung galaxy s3?
