Microsoft Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 are CC EAL1 Certified
Jeju, South Korea -- Of particular interest to our customers in Japan, on September 24th, 2008, Microsoft Corporation was awarded the Common Criteria (CC) certificate for Microsoft Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 by the Australasian Information Security Evaluation Program (AISEP) at the 9th International Common Criteria Conference (ICCC). This CC evaluation at EAL1 was the first Windows operating system product, supporting desktop and server installations, to be evaluated by the AISEP.
The certified versions of Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 are:
- Microsoft Windows Vista Enterprise Edition (32-bit and 64-bit)
- Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition (32-bit and 64-bit)
- Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Edition (32-bit and 64-bit)
- Microsoft Windows Server 2008 DataCenter Edition (64-bit)
