次の例では、ICollection<T> インターフェイスを実装して、BoxCollection

Box
クラスは、IEquatable<T> インターフェイスを実装して、ディメンションが同じになるように既定の等値を定義します。
BoxCollection

ICollection<T> インターフェイスは、System.Collections.Generic 名前空間のクラスの基本インターフェイスです。
ICollection<T> インターフェイスは IEnumerable<T>拡張されます。IDictionary<TKey,TValue> と IList<T> は、ICollection<T>を拡張するより特殊なインターフェイスです。 IDictionary<TKey,TValue> 実装は、Dictionary<TKey,TValue> クラスのようなキーと値のペアのコレクションです。 IList<T> 実装は値のコレクションであり、そのメンバーは、List<T> クラスのようにインデックスによってアクセスできます。
IDictionary<TKey,TValue> インターフェイスも IList<T> インターフェイスも必要なコレクションの要件を満たしていない場合は、新しいコレクション クラスを ICollection<T> インターフェイスから派生して柔軟性を高めます。
