Dragon Ambient eXperience (DAX) Copilot is an AI-powered, voice-enabled solution that reduces administrative workload of clinicians by automatically documenting patient encounters. It captures patient interactions accurately and efficiently at the point of care, letting clinicians focus more on patient care. DAX Copilot reduces documentation time and helps you improve patient satisfaction, patient experience, operational efficiency, and financial outcomes.

This cloud-based application securely captures the complete patient story. It automatically converts multi-party conversations into specialty-specific, structured clinical summaries right after a patient encounter. The resulting clinical notes capture all the relevant clinical information and allow clinicians to edit them for a certain period. But, you can't directly access the raw data that DAX Copilot generates. The underlying transcripts and audio files can be valuable sources of data for further analysis.

The DAX Copilot integration with Microsoft Fabric (preview) functionality lets you bring your conversational data from DAX Copilot into Fabric OneLake. This integration enables you to access, store, and manage the raw data that DAX Copilot generates. It also lets you collaborate, research, and innovate with AI in your organization. The data is stored in your lakehouse, organized in a hierarchical structure by date, which lets you view each file and its content.

The integration provides the following benefits:

  • Access to conversational data: Import and access the raw conversational data that DAX Copilot generates directly in Fabric OneLake.

  • Centralized data management: Store and manage the generated data securely within your lakehouse, organized by date for easy navigation.

  • Collaboration and innovation: Facilitate collaboration, research and development, and AI innovation in your organization using a structured dataset of multi-party conversations.

  • Historical data store: Create a historical repository of DAX Copilot data that can serve as a valuable data source for your healthcare applications.

  • Enhanced analytics: Use Fabric analytical capabilities to gain insights from conversational data, supporting data-driven decision-making for healthcare use cases.
